PTI February Blog Hop


This is my first time participating in the PTI blog hop! I am excited to take part!
Here is what I created

To me, spring is hearing the birds sing again and seeing the buds of leaves on the branches. I made this card for my church choir director's birthday. I hope he likes it!

Ink: Dark Chocolate, Spring Moss (PTI), French Blue and Blue Iris (Colorbox), and Walnut Stain Distress (Ranger)
Paper: Spring Rain, Dark Chocolate and Vintage Cream (PTI)
Other: Corner rounder, paper piercer, sponge

I LOVE that you used the notes with guidelines. I haven't had much luck using those little notes because my stuff always looks messy, but this gives it order and adds a really nice touch. I love this card.

Ok - card # 2 to inspire me to use this set - I've never produced a card I loved with this set but I'm loving what you did - so simple yet striking! Great job. It's my first blog hop too - your choir director will LOVE this.

Spring is DEFINITELY about the birds singing outside my window. At a decent hour though- I'm tired of waking up at 4am to the crows on my roof! LOL

This is pretty. I love that the inside says "Happy Birthday to You" which makes me think of the song.
