Make a Wish

ETA: Totally forgot to mention that this card is based off a sketch! It can be found here , at Kristin's blog. I flipped the sketch upside down and changed it a bit.

Hope you're having a great week! We seem to have been hit with a cold at our house--the parents get it the worst, right?? My daughter has a double ear infection but seems to be on the mend and my son (with tubes in his ears) is pretty good! I think it's going to be a long winter in terms of illness!

Anyway, I made this card after Dawn shared her cute ruffly ribbon technique. I like how it turned out except that my Melon Berry ribbon doesn't match at all with the Melon Berry cardstock!

Thanks for having a look!
Melissa

Fantastic job on those ruffles! The bow that finishes them off is beautiful! Love the elegant look you achieved with your card! This is really pretty :]

Be sure to check out our challenge tomorrow and look closely at my card. I was sitting in my craft room making the card thinking my satin ribbon did NOT match the coordinating card stock! You'll see what I mean when the post goes live! LOL At least I know I'm not losing my color vision!!

Hope everyone starts feeling better at your house! Thanks for playing along with our sketch challenge :O) Tomorrow is a technique challenge at Just Us Girls!! You don't want to miss it! **wink wink**
