Feel Better, Friend

Happy Friday! We got an early start to our morning, courtesy of an earthquake! Who would have known that MD is on a faultline??!

Here's a card I made recently for a good friend who broke her foot.

Denise feel better

I used Friendship Jar and Friendship Jar Fillers, and colored it with my Copics.

Thanks for looking!

Tag, You're It Challenge

I was able to participate in another PTI Princess challenge, this one hosted by Belinda . Our challenge is to create a tag.

Nathan tag

I made a tag to add to a baby gift that I'll be sending out to my friend, for her new little Nathan!

I used Mini Scrapbook: Library Ledger to stamp the background onto Kraft cardstock. I added his name using Fresh Alpha, and the label from Fillable Frames 5. The tiny sailboat comes from Bitty Baby Blessings, as well as the "ahoy, little sailor".

Nathan tag back

On the back I added the "congrats" and the saying from Iniside and Out: Baby and the date of his birth was stamped from the Library Ledger set.

Papertrey Pages challenge

ETA: I changed the sizes of the pictures as only a portion was showing up, weird!

The challenge this month is to use kraft and to make your own embellishment. That is doable! I ended up making several pages and finally scrapping some pictures that have been waiting two years for me to put them to use!

Kennedy's 1st birthday page 1

This is the first page of a two page spread. It uses some Pink Paislee paper and the design of the layout is copied from one by Kelly Purky in Creating Keepsakes.

Kennedy's 1st birthday page 2

Same products, second page. Not sure why the lighting is bad on this one.

first birthday fun

And the last page. I used Beautiful Blooms II stamped in versamark to create a background on the page, and I cut out the cute animals and tree from some Imaginisce paper called Twitterpated.

Thanks for taking a look!

Hope you're having a great weekend so far!

I love banners and finally made a card using the stamp set "It's a celebration" from PTI. I would love a set with some larger banners as well.

HB banner

The paper is from Crate Paper and some of the inks are PTI and the rest are Colorbox Chalk ink. The cardstock and ribbon are Sweet Blush. The sentiment comes from Enjoy the Ride.

Have a great day!

Water you up to?

Water you up to

Here's a fun card made using the set Friendship Jar and a Kim Hughes' set Ocean Love. I stamped the jar with Staz-On black onto acetate, cut it out and adhered (under the lid) onto the cardstock.

Thanks for coming by!

Happy Calypso Birthday

Calypso HB square

Aren't these papers pretty? They are being released today at The Digichick and they are called Calypso by Mari Koegelenberg.

The stamps used are from Scattered Showers and the sentiment is from Vintage Picnic.

Have a great day!

The Sky is the Limit

Happy July!

Summer is moving quickly already, isn't it! I made this card a few weeks ago to give to a friend who is moving away and will be working on his Masters in music. He is very talented, so definitely "the sky is the limit"!

I was trying to create the image of one balloon emerging higher than the rest.
