Raspberry Suite Color Challenge #13

Here is Dawn's latest color challenge. I love the colors and had an idea to do something floral, inspired by that beautiful tin in the photo.



I used all Vintage Picnic for the stamps...I love that little floral background stamp, so sweet (click to enlarge to see better)! I colored the flowers with my Copic markers and paper pieced the basket with Bitty Box paper in Pure Poppy. The ribbon is Pure Poppy satin. That's about it...thanks for looking!

Stamped table

Here is the table that I made for my daughter. I hope that she'll use it for tea and dinner parties, not for climbing and catapulting!



I found the mission-style kids table at Michael's on clearance and used my 50% coupon to get it for $7.50, what a deal! The chairs were $15 a piece. I painted them all with a couple coats of some basic white paint and then used my stamps and regular inks to decorate the table. I sealed the table with a spray sealant to make it waterproof.



I can't leave without a photo or two of the birthday girl, so here she is!

This card uses "Life" stamp set as I try to channel some to Debbie Olson's talent! I was very inspired by her framed art piece here. I made this for a friend who will celebrate her birthday this Friday, but it's safe to post now because she doesn't read my blog.



I tried to distress the focal image using my sandpaper thingy and inked all the edges.
I hope to be back soon with photos of the tea party table I'm making for my daughter's 2nd birthday.

Another template, another picnic basket!

I seem to be all about making this pack a picnic template for gifts lately. I just can't stop...it's too darn cute! This will go to my friend's new baby. I tried to match up the colors to the outfit and I used Basic Grey's Lime Rickey papers.



I matched the card using some of the circles cut out of the Lime Rickey paper and a background stamp from Background Basics: Retro.
