I used the checkered background strip from On the Farm, hydrangea from Happy Hydrangea, "Thanks" from On the Farm, and "for everything you do" from WMS' Say It Loud.

Mother's Day card evening

I'm back to share some cards that my friends and I made for a Mother's Day card making evening a week or so ago.



The first one uses Smokey Shadow patterned paper, Fillable Frame die, frame and sentiment, and the flower and leaves from Rosie Posie.



This card is all Strawberry Patch.



Lastly, (you've seen this design on my blog before) is a card using Harvest Berries, the butterfy from Round and Round, and the sentiment from Blooming Button Bits.

Sorry the photo size is so big--these photos were taken on my iphone, and they always upload either super big or small.

Card Caravan: Flowers

I'm back with a card for this week's Make It Monday! And here's the beautiful color scheme and inspiration photo I chose to work with.

I've been working on this card all week!! My daughter was home sick this week, so I've not had much time myself.



I'm not sure why my Hibiscus Burst ink stamped so splotchy, but I was feeling too lazy to stamp again, LOL! The rectangle frame is from Label Basics, the sentiment from Iconic Images, and all the flowers from Rosie Posie.

Nature inspired

It's my turn to host the next Card Caravan and I chose the theme "nature".

I used the digital kit A Walk in the Park by Elise and Nicole.



Not my usual style, but it was fun to play around with a collage-type card!

Happy Birthday

It's PTI's April Blog Hop and here's the inspiration photo:

And my card:



I stamped the background using Damask Designs onto Vintage Cream cardstock. The flowers and leaves are from Rosie Posie, some cut by hand, some using the dies. The sentiment is found in Enjoy the Ride. I stamped a lined background onto the piece of Spring Rain cardstock using the little frame from Luck of the Irish.

You are so sweet

Still playing with new stamps!! For this card, I stamped the large line image from Strawberry Patch, and then filled in each leaf, flower and berry with the solid image. So fun! I used Pure Poppy, New Leaf and Lemon Tart inks. The top portion was cut with an Edgers die and tied with a Lemon Tart twill ribbon. Hope you're having a great weekend! Melissa
