Card Caravan and WMSC

Running in very quickly to post my card for the latest WMSC sketch challenge !!

My card this week also was made to play along with the latest Card Caravan challenge on The Hybrid Chick , which starts on Sunday.

Photobucket

Our theme at the Card Caravan is to use 7 things, so I used 5 different digital papers and two stamps from WMS's Spring Baskets.

Thanks for taking a look!

Felt gift bag

Today I'm taking part in PTI's September blog hop, which is focusing on fabric and felt packaging ideas.

I made a gift bag out of PTI's Hawaiian Shores felt using Favor It Box 3 Die and one of the Damask Snowflake dies.

Photobucket

Here is the side view. I used a liquid glue to adhere it together, and needed to use some pressure on the side in order for it to glue closed.

Photobucket

I think these might be cute for a little teacher gift for the winter holidays!

Merry Christmas

Hope you're having a great week! With all the Christmas crafting goodies starting to make an appearance, I was in the mood to make a Christmas card.

Photobucket

I used Bells and Boughs for this, stamping the background with the poinsettia and leaves, and the bells and bows were die cut and stamped. Just realized that part of the sentiment is covered up, oops!

Thank you

I decided to play around with color combos, and came up with a set of thank you notes. I also wanted to try out my Bloom Builder die, since I have a metal shim now, and I was hoping that it would cut much more easily, which it did!

Photobucket

All the inks used are Amuse Inks. This card uses Winter Wisteria cardstock for the flower, and a strip of Royal Velvet patterned paper. The stamp for the background comes from First Fruits (PTI).

Photobucket

Orange Zest patterned paper, and A Muse ink and cardstock for the maroon-ish color.

Photobucket

Aqua mist patterned paper and Dark Chocolate cardstock for the bloom.

Photobucket

Lastly, Blueberry Sky patterned paper and Enchanted Evening cardstock.

Have a great weekend!

Thinking of you

Happy Friday!

I pulled out an old favorite, Wreath for All Seasons, yesterday and made this card.

Photobucket

The background cardstock was impressed with PTI's Canvas impression plate. The bow is from Bells and Boughs and sentiment from Autumn Abundance.

Hope you're having a great week! Things are settling into a back-to-school routine around here. I know my kids are excited that the weekend is near, they just don't have much time for playing during the week!

Thanks for stopping by!

More Happy Harvest

Here are two more cards from the set I'm making for our pool fundraiser.

red scarecrow

I had a lot of fun stamping this scarecrow (from Happy Harvest, Wplus9)! I used PTI's sunrise impression plate on the red cardstock background. The squares were cut using PTI's Limitless Layers: Squares dies, and the bottom piece with the sentiment was cut with a Fabulous Frame die.

blue scarecrow

I impressed the blue cardstock with PTI's Picnic impression plate, and used the banner die from Fabulous Frames. Both sentiments are from Wplus9's Happy Harvest.

Happy Birthday and Thanks

I'm back after a break with some cards that I made for our pool's silent auction this weekend.

I made a set of cards using Wplus9's Happy Harvest. It is so cute! Check out those adorable sunflowers!

Photobucket

I had a "cheap attack" (ahem...Suzanne ;) ) and didn't buy the dies, but the images were very easy to cut out. For the first card I used PTI's woodgrain impression plate on the background kraft cardstock. The square and layer were cut with PTI's Limitless Layers Square dies. Sentiment from Happy Harvest.

Photobucket

Same idea, different impression plate. This time I used PTI's Linen one on the Simply Chartreuse layer. This sentiment is also from Happy Harvest.

I made one other one with the exact same design and a "thinking of you" sentiment. I'll be back later to show the super cute scarecrow cards made using the same set.

Hope you're having a great week!
