Another card from my Lovely Layers marathon session. Do you think I should add two strips of cardstock at the top, similar to those at the bottom?

With Sympathy

Another sympathy card that I sent to my mom!



This one uses Folk Art Florals from Wplus9 to stamp a background. The sentiment is from PTI's Think Big Favorite series.

June PTI Blog Hop

It's time for another blog hop! This month's inspiration photo is so pretty!



I tried to recreate the look of the textured pillow by stamping some flowers from Pretty Peonies and some dots from Polka Dot Basics. I then used the Linen/Canvas impression plate on that piece of cardstock.

Lovely Layers

Another new card made with Lovely Layers--



I used Royal Velvet, Raspberry Fizz and Enchanted Evening inks, stamped onto Sweet Blush cardstock. Each center got a gem, and it was matted with Raspberry Fizz cardstock.

Happy Sunday!

Hope you're having a fabulous weekend! I'm sharing my card for the latest Card Caravan challenge.  Our challenge was to use stitching.



I printed off some pretty papers from Quirky Twerp's Summer Day Scrapbook Kit , and cut them out with my Hexagon Cover Plate (PTI). The sentiment comes from Beautiful Butterflies (PTI).

You make me happy

It's definitely sunshiny here! Hope everyone is staying cool! I played around with the Sunrise Impression plate, Lovely Layers and We Go Together tonight and make this:



I decided to add a second set of the leaves to my flower, and I stamped and cut off just this portion of the sentiment (no gray skies on this card!).

Butterfly sympathy

I made a couple of sympathy cards for my mom, who unfortunately needs them quite often.

I used the same design for each card, switching the colors and the impression plates that I used.



All the butterflies are from Beautiful Butterflies, and the sentiment for this one comes from Birds of a Feather. I used a side of the Linen/Canvas impression plate on the focal image. The inks useds are all the PTI greens, Aqua Mist and Hawaiian Shores.



This card uses purples and blues from PTI, and was impressed with the other side of the same impression plate. I think I like the design better with a mat.
