Happy Birthday

What a crazy week!

Yesterday I was able to spend some time stamping, which was much needed for my sanity. I've had in my head for a while now to create a background with this fun car stamp. Here's what I came up with.

I stamped the outline of the car onto Soft Stone cardstock using Smokey Shadow ink. I then stamped the body with Aqua Mist and Deep Lagoon (Colorbox).

I'm thinking this could be masculine or feminine--had to leave off a frilly bow just in case!

Hope you are having a good weekend so far!
Melissa

"Happy Birthday" (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: Enjoy the Ride
Ink: Smokey Shadow, Aqua Mist, Deep Lagoon (Colorbox), Antique Linen (ranger)

Not sure if I missed it anywhere, but yours is the first time I have seen this set used as background paper. If I didn't know better, I would have thought it was purchased patterened paper. The colors are great and it is so crisp and stamped perfectly. Great job.

I REALLY like how you used the cars to stamp the background on this card! I don't think I would have ever thought to do that.
