With All My Heart

So when I shared my card yesterday, I had also made this card at the same time. You'll notice that I used the same papers....and that this card has two smaller hearts cut out of the bigger. It was not on purpose, I decided to use smaller hearts so I die cut again, but I die cut them perfectly centered and just knew I had to use these on a card!

The sentiment is from PTI's With All My Heart and I added a bunch of enamel dots. The paper is Fourteen by Crate Paper.

Hope you have a great week!

Happy Valentine's Day

Crafting time is scarce! But I was able to make a few cards today. This one is for the newest RetroSketch

I used some patterned papers from Crate Paper's Fourteen. The sentiment comes from Happy Day (PTI) and the Impression Plate is also PTI.

Class Valentines

I'm back with my project for Day 7 of the PTI anniversary celebration!

My son and I got busy making valentine's for his class today, and they all had hearts!

Photobucket

We cut the patterned paper using the Lunchbox Note die, and then I puched a hole at the bottom for the lollipop. My son stamped and colored some images and the "to and from" from the set Tiny Treats: Valentine.

Happy Valentine's Day

Another PTI card! This one is for Sketch #4. I used Betsy's technique for cutting a frame out of the Quatrefoil Cover Plate. Thanks for sharing that, Betsy!

The sentiments and hearts come from Heart Prints.

Have a great night!

Happy Valentine's Day

My third card is based off of Jess Witty's project. I impressed the cardstock with the Quatrefoil die plate, and I rubbed Versamark over it before and it gave a great impression! (Thanks, Deb for that idea!)

Photobucket

I also used Happy Day for the label and sentiment, with a double ended-banner sticking out from behind.

Thanks for looking!

You color my world

My second card was inspired by Maile's card. Instead of Chevron stripes, I used BB: Houndstooth, and the sentiments are from Tiny Treats: Valentine.

Back with one more in a bit!

Valentines

Since our February was so mixed up due to the snow, my kids celebrated Valentine's Day with their classes this past week. That gave me extra time to make something for them to give to their friends. Tiny Treats: Valentines is the perfect set for the task! I had a lot of fun coloring these cute images and putting the lollipop holders together.

I made about five of several of my favorite images from the set. I think that I like the bunny, cat and dog the best!

My son still writes his letters fairly big, so I couldn't used the "to" and "from" image included in the Tiny Treats set. Instead, I stamped the "to" and "from" using those words from the Holiday Tags set. That way I could give it lots of spacing.

Thanks for looking and I hope you're having a great weekend!

Love You Forever

When I saw the beautiful inspiration photo that Melissa Phillips had chosen for her latest challenge, I was very inspired to play along! I couldn't help but gravitate toward hearts seeing all the red in the photo and that Valentine's Day is coming up very soon!

There are so many great details in this photo--I based my card off the gray handwriting on the envelopes, the red and cream tags and the buttons. Here's what I came up with:

Today is my blogaversary! I have had so much fun this past year making friends through my blog, and the encouragement and support I receive for my art from you is amazing!

In gratitude to all my friends, new and old who visit me here I would like to pass on a small gift to one lucky person!
