Happy World Card Making Day!
For the blog hop today I created two cards based on Dawn's RSSC #17 . Seventeen is my lucky number!!
I stamped the background using an image from Simply Stationery on kraft, cut it, and used each piece to create two cards.
The "just a note" sentiment comes from Autumn Abundance and the "thank you so much" is from Damask Designs.
Thanks for visiting today and hope you are able to celebrate this special day by making a card or two!
Melissa
"Just a note" and "Thank you so much" (all PTI unless noted)
Stamps: Simply Stationery, Damask Designs, and Autumn Abundance
Ink: Dark Chocolate, Pure Poppy and Walnut Stain (Ranger)
Paper: Aqua Mist, Pure Poppy, Kraft and Dark Chocolate
Other: Dark Chocolate Satin ribbon, Pure Poppy buttons, Rustic Cream twine, Threading Water Border punch (Fiskars), sponge

Visually stunning, great use of the patterned background, perfect composition!
Absolutely gorgeous with the background stamping!! I love the colors you picked, adding Aqua Mist just makes it all come together. Great card!
Ohhhh - this looks like a quit that I could cuddle up in! I really like it!!
Adore your homemade dsp. Another set I don't have, but on the "need" list. I think PTI should just take a month off so we can play catch up and still keep our budgets LOL! Way to rock Dawn's color combo.
It's a good life!

Very elegant, makes a great homemade DSP. I like your color choices. Actually to Terri's comment above, I think we should all take a month off of work and housecleaning to just stamp and visit blogs! :)
