Thinking of you

Happy Friday!

I pulled out an old favorite, Wreath for All Seasons, yesterday and made this card.

Photobucket

The background cardstock was impressed with PTI's Canvas impression plate. The bow is from Bells and Boughs and sentiment from Autumn Abundance.

Hope you're having a great week! Things are settling into a back-to-school routine around here. I know my kids are excited that the weekend is near, they just don't have much time for playing during the week!

Thanks for stopping by!

More Happy Harvest

Here are two more cards from the set I'm making for our pool fundraiser.

red scarecrow

I had a lot of fun stamping this scarecrow (from Happy Harvest, Wplus9)! I used PTI's sunrise impression plate on the red cardstock background. The squares were cut using PTI's Limitless Layers: Squares dies, and the bottom piece with the sentiment was cut with a Fabulous Frame die.

blue scarecrow

I impressed the blue cardstock with PTI's Picnic impression plate, and used the banner die from Fabulous Frames. Both sentiments are from Wplus9's Happy Harvest.

Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday and Thanks

I'm back after a break with some cards that I made for our pool's silent auction this weekend.

I made a set of cards using Wplus9's Happy Harvest. It is so cute! Check out those adorable sunflowers!

Photobucket

I had a "cheap attack" (ahem...Suzanne ;) ) and didn't buy the dies, but the images were very easy to cut out. For the first card I used PTI's woodgrain impression plate on the background kraft cardstock. The square and layer were cut with PTI's Limitless Layers Square dies. Sentiment from Happy Harvest.

Photobucket

Same idea, different impression plate. This time I used PTI's Linen one on the Simply Chartreuse layer. This sentiment is also from Happy Harvest.

I made one other one with the exact same design and a "thinking of you" sentiment. I'll be back later to show the super cute scarecrow cards made using the same set.

Hope you're having a great week!

Love Grows in Happy Homes

Recently, The Digichick celebrated homecoming! I made a homecoming float for the parade, featuring Digichick Alumna Mari Kogelenberg's Berry Sweet digital kit .

Be sure to check out all the gorgeous, creative hybrid floats here .

Here's a ton of photos of my float

I also used Kelleigh Ratzlaff's Easter Basket Template and her Sweet Birdhouse Template .

The felt strawberries were cut using PTI's Strawberry Patch dies, and I also used PTI's fence die, which I impressed with the Woodgrain impression plate. I used PTI's banner dies for the bunting, and stamped the little bird from Little Bitty Bird and the sentiment from Love lives Here.

If you have any questions about specific products used, feel free to ask.

Happy Birthday

It's another Card Caravan Challenge! This week's theme is paper piecing.

Photobucket

I used a PTI stamp set, Baby Button Bits, and stamped the flowers onto this pretty digital paper from Stellajane Design's Summer Rain paper pack . Each flower and leaf was cut out, and after stamping the flowers a second time onto white cardstock, I adhered each in place.

I hope you'll check out our latest challenge over at The Hybrid Chick!

Happy Birthday

So happy to be participating in the Waltzingmouse Stamp's August Blog Hop!

This month's theme is birthdays: and funnily enough today is my birthday!

We are actually on vacation so I may not be able to hop around to visit all the projects until our return next week.

Photobucket

I stamped the checkered portion using Off Beat Backgrounds onto kraft cardstock. The sentiment is from Say It Loud, and the flowers come from Asian Gardens.

Thanks for taking a look!

Thanks just doesn't seem like enough

Happy weekend! Hope you're having a great one so far. I just came back from running 8 miles--my longest distance yet! I'm training to run a half-marathon on September 9th and 13 miles still seems soooo long!

I'm playing along with the latest Play Date Cafe color challenge and also decided to make a square card for the next CASual Friday challenge .

For my card, I cut out strips of varying widths of Raspberry Fizz, Orange Zest and Harvest Gold cardstock. After adhering them onto my cardstock, I heat embossed a medallion from Mehndi Medallion with white powder, and added a sentiment from Autumn Abundance.

Photobucket

This card is being sent to someone to whom "thanks" is not enough!

Have a good day!
