Sorry it's been so long since I lasted posted...these past weeks have been so busy! I did manage to do a little blog-makeover last night so if you're seeing this in a reader, click through and take a look!
My friend asked me to make five thank yous for her to give out and two were to be for male recepients. Here's what I came up with
This one is actually one I already had on hand that I made back in February.
Let me know if you have any questions about what I used to make these.
Happy Memorial Day to all in the US!

WMS May Blog Waltz
Welcome! I was so happy to get my new WMS stamps in time to make a card for this Blog Waltz! Here it is:
I'm thinking it needs a bit more of something (now that I'm looking at it on my screen)...maybe some gems in the tree blossoms.
Thanks for looking!

Happy Birthday
What a crazy week!
Yesterday I was able to spend some time stamping, which was much needed for my sanity. I've had in my head for a while now to create a background with this fun car stamp. Here's what I came up with.
I stamped the outline of the car onto Soft Stone cardstock using Smokey Shadow ink. I then stamped the body with Aqua Mist and Deep Lagoon (Colorbox).
I'm thinking this could be masculine or feminine--had to leave off a frilly bow just in case!
Hope you are having a good weekend so far!

PTI Princess Challenge
Sorry for the delay with posting this challenge. My son has pneumonia and was having trouble breathing, so I took him to the Dr and he had a nebulizer treatment and also got Xrays taken.
Here is the inspiration photo for Papertrey Princess Challenge #8
The photo comes from Martha Stewart's website and is called Chocolate Faux Bois Wedding Cake. Looks pretty yummy! Be inspired by any or all of the elements in this beautiful photo!
I hope to be back later with my card.

I did manage to get a new card made for the Waltzingmouse Makers blog, you can see more of the details here .
Here's the front:
Hope you have a great Wednesday!

Round and Round
It's been a while since I posted...my daughter has stopped napping for the most part, so the days are pretty long and I've been so tired at night!
I made this card last weekend after seeing Laurie's beautiful card . I was inspired to try a background like the one she created. It was very easy to line up the circles.
I couldn't find a spot for the sentiment for I left it off for now and will add it to the inside when I find occasion to use it.
Thanks for looking!

hello friend
I was very inspired by Nichole Heady's card that she posted today as part of the monthly design team challenge.
I replicated her technique for looping the ribbon and also used the small scallop die and the mat stack 1 die for my focal image. The gorgeous background is a lace stamp from Waltzingmouse Stamps, clear embossed on Hawaiian Shores. I had that piece left over from a different card and wanted to put it to good use!
I am so honored to be chosen by Nichole as a winner for Papertrey Ink's Guest Star Stamper for the month of February in the category of Best Use of Templates! All the entries are beautiful and it really means a lot to me to have been selected!
Thanks for stopping by and hope you're having a great weekend!
