I'm back today to share a fun baby gift and card that I made recently for little Ruby!
I used Beautiful Blooms II for the card with some fun colors!
The inside of the card was stamped with a saying from Inside and Out: Baby.
I cut the felt with the butterfly and Beautiful Blooms II dies and then hand-stitched them to the onesies.
And the last one was stamped with Butterfly Dreams and Fresh Alpha for her name.
Thanks for coming by!

June PTI Blog Hop
It's blog hop time again! And our challenge this month is to use our favorite color combo. I don't have just one, but I do love Hawaiian Shores and Lavendar Moon together.
When I saw this card I was blown away! Loved it so much that I was inspired to try several of the elements on my own card. I used the same Label 4 die, sponged the background and paper pieced the lilies. The card ends up looking a very different style though.
Thanks for hopping by!

All you PTI fans will recognize this card as a CASE (copy) of Nichole Heady's card. I didn't buy the new paper though, so I created my own using Polka Dot Basics II with vintage cream ink onto Aqua Mist.
I've been struggling to feel creative lately, so I found that CASEing has helped me at least get into my craft room and make something.
Thanks for looking!

Father's Day cards
Since I didn't get them sent off in time this year, it seems appropriate to also post them here a few days after the actual day, LOL!
This is the one that I made for my husband. It uses A Little Argyle and Fillable Frame 5. The cs is Smokey Shadow and the rest Enchanted Evening.
I made this card for my dad, in hopes that he enjoyed a weekend full of sunshine and was able to golf! The card was made using Distressed Stripes, Up, up and Away and Fillable Frames 5 sentiment.
Lastly, the card I made for my husband's grandfather. I was still thinking golf with this one, I guess! It uses A Little Argyle and Fillable Frames 5.
Thanks for stopping by today!

Thanks for Everything
Hope you're having a great week, so far! I made this card recently and CASEd this card that I made back in February.
I changed the blue to Hawaiian Shores and used a different sentiment. I really loved the first card, so I felt fine with using the exact layout again another time--sometimes you just don't want to reinvest the wheel, right??
Thanks for looking!

More Thank You's
I had a couple requests for teacher cards from friends, so I made up a few variations of the cards shown below. I used lots of Cosmo Cricket paper for these, which I think is some really fun paper!!
This card is a CASE of Debbie Olson's card in the latest issue of Paper Crafts, although there are quite a few difference, the basic layout is similar.

May your day...
I know that all you PTI fans have been seeing the peeks of the new jar set--isn't it so cute??!! I started to think about what I had similar to that already and I remembered the little jar in the Studio Style set!
So this little card was born...with an image than any button-crazed crafter would consider a happy sight! My pretty button collection definitely makes me happy!

Thank you, Teacher
Last week was a busy one! Being the last week of preschool meant different parties, "celebration" (graduation), picnics and through in some appointments--we were running around!
For our wonderful teacher's cards, I made them very simple. The different classes are named after animals so my daughter,Kennedy, aged 2, was in the Pandas.
Colin, aged 5, was in the Lions.
Next year we'll bein the Monkey class for Kennedy and I love the fun teacher that she'll have! We are seriously so lucky to have such amazing teachers at our school!
I'll be back soon with some more teacher thank yous that I made for a friend.
Thanks for looking,
Melissa

Thanks for Everything
Hi! This card was made using YOF: Sweet Peas, BB: Text and a sentiment from on the of the YOF sets. I colored the stems and leaves with Copics and then stamped over the whole cardfront with the text background. Then, I stamped a second set of the flowers, colored those and put them in place. I tried to take my time with the coloring, rather than rush like I usually do, LOL!
Sorry for the blurry pic, I was in a hurry when I took it, and now it's off to its receipent so I can't redo it.
Hope you have a great day!
Melissa

Lily of the Valley
Happy Sunday!
I made a set of three cards using the Year of Flowers: Lily of the Valley stamp set and the background circles from Round and Round. This card set is off to my mom whose favorite flowers are Lily of the Valley.
I also used the large rectangle from Take Note to frame my focal image, an idea shared by Erin Lincoln here .

It's Friday! We have one more week of preschool left...how about you??
This was a super fun card to make! I used two Copic markers to color my silk ribbon and had a blast adding the little gems to my sky scene.
Thanks for looking!

It's a baby shower!
One thing I was busy making on my blog absence is baby shower invites! I made thirty of these for a friend and I have to thank Nadine for helping me when I ran out of ribbon and Emily/Sky Nacho for helping me find more paper that I used for the bears!
I stamped the left portion using the distressed frame from Luck of the Irish and used the Polka dot impression plate for the main card face. The bear comes from Baby Button Bits as does the sentiment.
Thanks for coming by to look!
