It's retro sketch time! Here's the latest Sketch, #22 .
I stamped my background using PTI's The Sweet Life in some A Muse Studio ink colors. The edge was cut using on of PTI's Edger dies. The sentiment is from Birds of Feather, my go-to sentiment for sympathy cards.
I impressed the Simply Chartreuse card base with the Linen impression plate. Added a snip of Fresh Snow satin ribbon and an Enchanted Evening button.
Thanks for looking!

Thank you
Hope you're having a great weekend! I made this card using Natural Beauties, the new set from PTI.
The background was stamped with leaves, and then I ran it through my Woodgrain impression Plate. I stamped and cut out the flowers, and added a little tag (from Fabulous Frames) with a sentiment from Mat Stack 1.
Thanks for coming by!

A note of thanks
Today is my daughter's 5th birthday! And after the party yesterday and the actual day today full of presents, cupcakes, pool and dinner out, I'm so tired!
But, I wanted to sneak in before the deadline to post my card for this week's Retro Sketch.
I can't seem to stop using purple on my cards!
I stamped and cut out my roses (The Sweet Life, PTI) and added them to a Tag Sale die cut that was impressed with a PTI plate (can't remember which, right now). The card base is Kraft, and I added a piece of vellum that was also impressed with the Linen impression plate. Kraft twill tape and Winter Wisteria button top the tag. The sentiment (stamped in Royal Velvet) is from Happy Trails.
We've got a storm coming right now, so I'm going to finish up.
Thanks for taking a look!

Wishing you...
Isn't that a gorgeous bouquet!!
I decided to pull out an old favorite floral set, Beautiful Blooms II for this month's blog hop. (In all truth, I made this card while a bunch of my stuff was already packed for SAF, and I was too lazy to unpack and repack) ;)
The sentiment is from Movers and Shakers: Sentiments.

Stamp A Faire: Card Set challenge
What a fun day we had yesterday! I only made a couple of cards at our East Coast get together, but had a blast and ate way too much! Met some new friends and chatted with some old.
I did manage to make a few more projects today to enter into the challenges. Here is my card set, inspired by Dawn McVey.
I used the wine bottle tag die to cut the patterned paper (from October Afternoon). The oval focal images are from 2012 Birthday Tags, stamped in Cranberry Amuse Studio ink (LOVE that ink!).
I added some ribbon tails behind each focal image. There is one card with a vertical image in the set.
Hope you had a great weekend!

Thank you
This week's Make It Monday from PTI is a fun one! I rolled the die to get this combination.
So, I ended with Simply Sunflower as my main images and On the Couch as my sentiment/supportive images. I used a sheet with color combos that PTI gave out in the past, and got Fine Linen/Berry Sorbet/Aqua Mist/ Hawaiian Shores/Simply Chartreuse. My embellishment is twine.
I'm actually pleased how it turned out! I would have never chosen those colors to use with Simply Sunflower, but it works!
Thanks for coming by!

Happy Birthday
Finding much more time than usual to play along with challenges!!
Here's a card for this week's Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge .
I really wanted to use the new-to-me set, Half Pint Heros, so I pulled that out as well as some older patterned paper from Crate Paper called School Spirit.
I'm thinking about stamping something more in the top of the focal image--some clouds or a bird??
Thanks for looking!

On Cloud 9...
Have you heard about the new blog hop? My friend Suzanne has organized a new, monthly blog hop to share cards using Wplus9 products! Check it out here !
Here's this month's inspiration photo...pretty!
I loved the bright colors and used those as well as the flowers to inspire my background stamping. I used the sets Folk Art Floral and Fresh Picked.
This card got an addition of a flower (made with Beautiful Bloom Dies from PTI).
And a strip of cardstock and ribbon was added to this one.
Thanks for taking a look!

Happy Christmas Day
I'm hosting this week's Card Caravan Challenge at The Hybrid Chick , and the challenge is Christmas in July!
With our theme in mind, I made this easily-mailable card, using these beautiful digital papers from Wishing Well Creations, Holly Jolly Mini Kit. I die cut the the holly leaves and berries out of felt using the PTI dies. The label and sentiment were stamped using the set and die from Happy Days.
Thanks for taking a look!

You color my world
Hope you had a great 4th of July if you're in the US!
I'm still playing around with Happy Hexagons and wanted to try a "rainbow" styled card.
The sentiment is from Happy Trails.
Have a great night!

Every single day...
Happy Monday!
Did you survive the weekend? We had a crazy storm hit on Friday night which knocked out power for millions of people in our area. We spent the weekend searching out open movie theatres, pools, and restaurants....but couldn't find much open! Luckily our power came back on Saturday night. I really feel for those still without power, it's hot!
I had a chance to play around with my hexagon set "Happy Hexagons".
The sentiment comes from Movers and Shakers Sentiments, and the ink colors used are Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Ocean Tides, Fine Linen, Kraft and Rich Cocoa (Memento).
Have a good day!
