Enjoy the Ride

I'm enjoying playing with my PTI goodies! On this card I used A Little Argyle for the background, the car from Enjoy the Ride and the new Mat stack die to cut out the Dotti Biscotti paper.

I tried to keep it simple and masculine...but it needs something more. Any suggestions??

Thanks for looking!
Melissa

Looks great Melissa, although I agree that it could use just a bit of something more. How about a very small brown button in the 2 upper corners of the label?

Or looking at it again, perhaps 3 brown buttons in the upper right corner of the card?

Too cute! I actually don't think it needs anything. I like that you adhered the car to Fillable Frames #1 die.

I too think it looks great especially that argyle pattern....it's perfect!! I haven't used the solid argyle lines yet. I think maybe just a few buttons lining that bottom brown strip would bring your eyes down and finish the card!

Great card, Melissa. I like the others' suggestions of some buttons or brads somewhere on another corner to help balance the "heaviness" of the car.

Love the "guy" feel to this Melissa. Your arglye BG is awesome. My first thought was 3 brown brads along the top left corner, and a maybe a bit of twine tied around the bottom, under the tires of the car, but I honestly think it looks great just the way it is too!

Very, very cute! GREAT masculine card!! I think the button and twine ideas are great, but it also looks great just how it is!

I agree with Jennifer. This is a great masculine card! I think I would add something to the upper left hand corner to balance the design on the lower right. Maybe a dark chocolate band with brads or wrapped with twine, similar to what others have suggested. Love, love your argyle colors. I wanted that set so badly and have yet to play with it.

Love the colors of this card Melissa! Your argyle stamping is perfect. Great card as is. But if you want to a little more, I'm in agreement with the others who think you could add a few brown (or copper) brads to the top left corner.

Fabulous! Love the simplicity and the lovely argyle! I like doing some piercing sometimes for masculine cards to give it something more but I think your card is awesome as is!

Great card, Melissa! Love the masculine colors and the argyle looks awesome! I agree with some other comments that buttons or brads on the top left would work, but really it looks great as is!
